..but the fact of the matter is that I just can't get some parts to fit! Part listed as 8 by 11mm measures 11 by 22mm. I think I'll manage to squeeze it in there OK. I should manage some boring recap pics too in order to move along the content train.

Aha, good point. I will be sure to share the outcomes. Also on the burner is a little tube amp action, so hopefully I can work up a good head of steam. Cheers!
I have a ton of radial 100uf/50v. They are 3/16" across and 3/8" high. You're welcome to grab what you need.
That sounds interesting. Any idea how old they are?
I don't know. I got them from one of those cheap ebay surplus sellers within the last couple of years. Not factory fresh for sure.
They're a very ugly shade of gray, if that's any consolation.
I'd be interested in grabbing a few next time I'm over, seeing as how these are socketed modules I can A/B with ease.
